John Abraham has no rivalry with Salman Khan

The dashing John Abraham isn't bothered by stories about his rivalry with Salman Khan , who stars along with him in the forthcoming film Babul .

There have been news reports about Salman making snide remarks about John and a squabble during the making of the film.

“All I can do is brush it off with a smile. I really don't have time for all this,” John was quoted as saying in a newspaper Tuesday.

“As far as I'm concerned, I'm very comfortable with everyone around me,” John added.

There were no comments from Salman.

‘Babul’ is the story of the quest of a man ( Amitabh Bachchan ) trying to get his daughter-in-law ( Rani Mukherjee ) re-married after his son’s death.

Hema Malini plays Bachchan’s wife in the film while Salman plays their son.

John plays Rani’s friend in the film who also loves her but whose love is silent and he expresses all his pent up emotions through his songs.

Apart from ‘Babul’ John also stars in Kabul Express , in which he plays a television journalist covering the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Both films will hit theaters later this month.

Is John Abraham becoming a narcissist?

The idea of putting ones own images on a New Year calendar does sound narcissistic. But John Abraham insists otherwise.

The actor is all set to publish a calendar full of his images for the upcoming year. The calendar will exclusively have John’s poster-size images clicked by Subi Samuel. John insists that the project is not a vanity trip but a humble exercise in public relations.

According to the actor, the calendar is his own style of self-projection.

Sadly for John’s fans, the calendars will not be up for sale. He will gift them to some selected people, friends and family, on New Year.

Meanwhile, John is waitfor his two big banner releases Babul and Kabul Express next month.

He plays a silent lover in ‘Babul’. And he will be seen as a bold television journalist covering the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan in ‘Kabul Express’.

Ayesha Takia pairs with John Abraham

This comely belle is sure making rapid strides in the film industry.

After winning hearts with her terrific performance in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Dor , Ayesha Takia has now signed another important project with lots of prospect for showing her histrionics.

She has been paired with John Abraham in Anurag Kashyap’s film No Smoking . Kashyap had previously approached Bipasha Basu for the role but she had turned it down due to unspecified reasons.

Kashyap says he had also narrated the script to Ayesha some time back. Moreover, the film’s producers, Vishal Bhardwaj and Kumar Mangat, approved of Ayesha.

Ayesha is presently shooting for a movie in Cape Town. But she has reportedly given her nod to the project. She will play a double role in the movie.

‘No Smoking’ has John playing a chain smoker who joins a rehab to quit the habit. How his life changes after that is what the movie is about.

The film’s shooting has already begun.

John Abraham’s heroine still not finalized

Even though the shooting of Anurag Kashyap’s thriller No Smoking has begun, John Abraham’s heroine in the film is yet to be finalized.

The movie has John Abraham playing a compulsive smoker. Because of his irrepressible desire to smoke, his marriage also comes to the verge of falling apart. The movie aims to give an anti-smoking message in an entertaining way.

Several actresses have been under consideration for the role of female lead in the film. But none has been signed as yet.

The movie’s director, Anurag Kashyap , is said to have been very impressed by Bipasha Basu ’s look in Dhoom 2 . He calls her the “ultimate Indian male fantasy.” There is a possibility that he might suggest her name to the movie’s producers Kumar Mangat and Vishal Bhardwaj.

Meanwhile, the producers have denied that John will give a nude scene in the film. The said scene will show John’s character at the age of 11 and therefore it will be shot on a child artiste.

Sources say ‘No Smoking’ is based on a very unique concept.

John Abraham to do a nude scene for No Smoking

But the man has now decided to strike back with his next film titled No Smoking starring John Abraham. The film is story about a chain smoker who wants to quit smoking and therefore joins a rehab. John plays this character of a chain smoker whose marriage comes in trouble because of his smoking addiction. Currently, there is also a buzz that John will be doing a nude scene in the film but Kashyap says that he hasn’t decided how that scene will be shot.

The film is being produced by Kumar Mangat who also produced Omkara. Vishal Bhardwaj will be doing the music of the film and the lyrics will be written by Gulzar. Besides John, the film also stars Ranvir Shorey and Joy Fernandes.

John Abraham`s private moments being watched

Sometimes fans go to great extent to get a personal lowdown of their favourite star.

We have heard of star-struck fans stalking celebrities in Hollywood and even bugging their house in some instances. Now, the trend seems to have made its way to India too.

Recently, a fan has allegedly been sneaking into John Abraham ’s day-to-day life by stealthily peeping (probably by a telescope) into his new apartment in Sea Glimpse at Bandstand, Bandra.

Not only this, the fan even posted the details of his observations on John’s official website, sharing the information with other fans. The information revealed very minute details of John’s life: at what time he woke up, what he had for breakfast and who came to meet him at his apartment.

After these postings continued for three days, the designer of John’s website swung into action and blocked the fan’s ID.

John says he finds it amusing that people would want to know what he does in his house.

He is reportedly planning to grow big plants around the windows so that peeping Toms cannot peek inside.

Nikhil Advani's next?

Film industry and gossip/rumors go hand in hand. In fact, it’s become a habit to hear at least one startling news in the course of the day and later, when you do a bit of cross-checking, you learn that it was a false siren. This time, Nikhil Advani is the topic of discussion!

Reportedly, Nikhil is planning a four-hero project next, once SALAAM-E-ISHQ releases, for which he’s keen to cast Big B, Hrithik Roshan, Akshaye Khanna and John Abraham in principal roles. A news-report even suggests that Nikhil has already paid a handsome signing amount to John.

“Rubbish,” Nikhil laughs aloud, “Where do these rumors originate from? I don’t know what I plan to make next, so how could I be signing the stars for it? I wrapped the shooting of SALAAM-E-ISHQ on Sunday [15th October] and the next three months would be devoted to the post-production work. Where’s the time to think of a new film?”

But there can’t be smoke without fire. The director of KAL HO NAA HO must’ve planned something. “Oh yes, I’ve planned to take a year off once SALAAM-E-ISHQ releases in January 2007. I have decided I won’t work for a year. I owe it to myself and my wife. SALAAM-E-ISHQ has exhausted me completely and I need to recharge my batteries,” he smiles.

All eyes are on SALAAM-E-ISHQ for sure. In fact, it’s amongst the three big films that are slated for release in January 2007. Initially slated for a 26th January release, Nikhil has decided to prepone the release by one day, which means SALAAM-E-ISHQ will hit the marquee on Thursday, 25th January.

While the first teaser of SALAAM-E-ISHQ will be unveiled with JAAN-E-MANN, the promotion of the film will gather momentum from 7th November onwards.

Aishwarya & John have the quality

They've never been paired before. "But if you close your eyes you can see how good John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai look together," says producer Gaurang Doshi who's all set to bring together the golden couple in his new magical mystical romantic musical Happy Birthday.

To be directed by Sriram Raghavan who earlier did Ram Gopal Varma's Saif-Urmila starrer Ek Hasina Thi, Happy Birthday starts shooting in January.

Says Gaurang, "We had signed John about a year back. But we we needed a strong charismatic and popular leading lady. Because Happy Birthday isn't about just the male protagonist. When Ash said yes, everything fell into place. She has never been seen with John before. They look like Adonis and Venus together."

John is on the look-out for new leading ladies to be paired opposite. In Water he's paired with Lisa Ray, in Baabul with Rani Mukherjee and in Salaam-e-Ishq with Vidya Balan for the first time.

Says Gaurang, "The catch-line for Happy Birthday will be, 'Those Who Don't Believe In Magic Will Never Find It.' We needed a magical pair. John and Ash have the quality."

Adds John Abraham, "I think Aishwarya and I will make a good team. It's a great script. Sriram is a super-director, and we're excited."

The music score is being done by Vishal-Shekhar.

Aishwarya, John abraham in Happy Birthday

Here’s a casting coup!

John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai have been teamed for the first time in Gaurang Doshi’s HAPPY BIRTHDAY, to be directed by Sriram Raghavan. Gaurang has a penchant for multi-starrers [AANKHEN and DEEWAAR] and HAPPY BIRTHDAY will have its share of stars too. While Gaurang and Sriram are in the process of finalizing one more leading lady, Paresh Rawal has been roped in for a pivotal role in the film.

There’s a big surprise too, but Gaurang wants it to be just that -- a surprise -- when people watch the film. Okay, let’s give you a clue: The icon will enact one of the key roles in the enterprise.

What’s HAPPY BIRTHDAY all about? “All I can reveal right now is its tagline -- ‘Those who don’t believe in magic, will never find it’,” he smiles. So it’s all about magic? “Not at all! It’s a new genre, completely commercial, a complete dhamaal,” he isn’t in the mood to divulge more.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY begins shooting early next year and the makers are hopeful of releasing it in August 2007. Vishal-Shekhar are scoring its music.

John-Vidya affair? All smoke, no fire!

Recently, the chemistry between actors John Abraham and Vidya Balan became the grist for rumour mills.

Let’s admit it. If two co-stars have some steamy scenes in a film, the gossipmongers have a knack to link them up. It has happened with Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra , Emraan Hashmi and Celina Jaitley and many more stars. John and Vidya happen to be the latest target.

The two are playing lovers in Nikhil Advani’s movie Salaam-e-Ishq . While filming for the movie, John and Vidya shared very good chemistry, which is evident in the promotional stills of the scenes showing them together. Some rumours even said that while shooting for a scene in which John and Vidya hide themselves under a dupatta, the two stayed under the dupatta for good many seconds even after the director had called ‘cut’.

While such canards have only fuelled the rumours further, Vidya has expressed her displeasure at such gossip-talk. John, on the other hand, has made public appearances with his longtime girlfriend Bipasha Basu to drive home the point that he is still with Bips.

Vidya says she just wants to focus on her work as she has some big movies coming up.

Vidya is presently a part of three big movies : Mani Ratnam’s Guru , Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Eklavya and Nikhil Advani’s ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’.

John prepares for musician's role

In case you're wondering why Bollywood's current heartthrob John Abraham has been so low-profile lately, the fact is he has been learning the guitar for his role in Imtiaz Ali's film "Rock Star".

So, when you see him take to the stage as a long-haired rock musician you know John won't be faking it.

"Yes I'm going to get those strings right. No point in strumming senselessly. Nowadays the audience has got very wise. They can tell when an actor is faking it. In fact, I learnt to play the flute for my role in 'Water'," John told IANS.

"At this rate I could become a one-man band. But I didn't have to learn to play ride the bike for 'Dhoom'. Seriously, role ke bahaane it's good fun to expand your horizons. I don't want to be an actor just to look good and wear trendy clothes on screen. I want to go deeper into my characters. It's great fun to prepare for a role."

Deepa Mehta, who directed John in "Water" which is Canada's official entry for Oscars, said he gave his best to her film.

"John shocked me with his preparedness. Whether it was getting into a dhoti or playing the flute or getting the body language of his character right, John put his soul into 'Water'. We've become really close friends. I'm looking forward to working with him again in 'Exclusion'."

John smiled at Mehta's compliments and said: "By the grace of god, I've plenty of prolific work on my plate. I love the family of directors I'm working with - Deepa, Sriram Raghavan ('Happy Birthday'), Nagesh Kukunoor ('Ashayen'), Imtiaz Ali ('Rock Star'), Anurag Kashyap ('No Smoking').

"If you listen to the scripts you would wonder why I'm doing such unusual films when I could be doing hardcore commercial cinema. It's because I want to grow as an actor."

Incidentally, Saif Ali Khan is the other actor in Bollywood who plays the guitar. Maybe the two actors can jam together?

"Why not?" laughed John!

See how John beat Salman!

In case you're wondering why John has been so low-profile lately, it's only work.

Salman, go eat your heart out. While the senior actor has been dying to 'be' a rock star on screen, it's John who has beaten him to it.

John is going to play a musician in Imtiaz Ali's Rock Star. And when we see him take to the stage as a long-haired rock musician John won't be faking it.

He's actually learning to play the guitar for the role.

Says John, "Yes I'm going to get those strings right. No point in strumming senselessly. Nowadays the audience has got very wise. They can tell when an actor is faking it. In fact I learnt to play the flute for my role in Water.

Adds Deepa Mehta, "John shocked me with his preparedness. Whether it was getting into a dhoti or playing the flute or getting the body language of his character right John put his soul into Water. We've become really close friends. I'm looking forward to working with him again in Exclusion."

John smiles at Deepa's compliments. "By the grace of God, I've plenty of prolific work on my plate. I love the family of directors I'm working with: Deepa, Sriram Raghavan (Happy Birthday), Nagesh Kukunoor (Ashayen), Imtiaz Ali (Rock Star), Anurag Kashyap (No Smoking). …

Now, get ready for John Abraham fashion clothes

John Abraham indeed has an impeccable taste in fashion. And this taste will be reflected in the John Abraham Collection, to be launched in November this year.

No, John is not turning into a fashion designer. But he has struck a deal with Wrangler US for a clothes collection that will be titled after his name. More than just the name, the fashion line will use John’s fashion sensibilities for designing the ready-to-wear clothes for both men and women.

The designers of the collection will be from Milan (Italy) and London (UK). They are the same people who design for the Diesel brand.

John says once the fashion line is launched, he would wear only John Abraham Collection clothes. And he urges his male and female fans to do the same.

John has been an ambassador for Wrangler for quite some time now. The brand’s association with the dashing Bollywood star has increased its sales. Therefore, the idea to launch a clothes line exclusively in the name of John Abraham came about.

The actor says the collection would have everything that he sartorially aspires to wear.

John was named the Asia’s sexiest man last year by a UK-based Bollywood magazine. This year, he has been named the second best after Abhishek Bachchan . However, John’s popularity with today’s youths, girls particularly, has not waned a bit.

Considering this, the John Abraham Collection ought to be a hit among youngsters.

John takes up cudgels on behalf of girl child

First Deepa Mehta's Water, now Ravi Chopra's Babul…. In both John Abraham plays a progressive man who wants to marry a widow. And there’s another film on widow rehabilitation Dor which people are talking about.

"Deepa's Water is going to be distributed by Ravi Chopra who's directing me in Baabul .And I'm going to be working with the Dor director Nagesh Kukunoor. Look at the thread of continuity… Isn't that something?" says John surfacing after a while to express his immense delight at Water being nominated as Canada's official entry to the Oscars.

"When I was in Toronto to promote Kabul Express I spent a lot of time with Deepa Mehta . We really hit it off. I guess the rules for Indian cinema abroad have changed. Today it's really cool to be Indian…And then you come back and see the potholes on the road from the highway…. I can criticize my own country. But I won't allow anyone outside my country to do so. Thanks to films like Water, it's really cool to be an Indian abroad."

John is delighted by how far Water has gone. "I remember at the Toronto film festival last year there was Steven Sodenberg, Tim Burton, Steven Spielberg and Sir Anthony Hopkins at the Festival. That's when I realized Water is special. I've no clue which way the film will go in India. But we can always hope for the best. Water deals with a sensitive issue of widow re-marriage."

He's surprised by the impact of Water worldwide. "Water is solely responsible for giving me an identity as an actor abroad. When I went back to the Toronto film festival this time, the North American press and movie-goers who waited outside the hotel knew me by name. They had my photograph to sign. And Water is solely responsible."

While last year John was in Toronto with Water this year he took Kabul Express. "Kabul Express didn't feature in the gala section. But it reinforced the fact that I was there two years in the running. It's considered prestigious to be at Toronto film festival twice in two years. Cameron Bailey who got Kabul Express there said onstage, "I promise you a John Abraham film every year.'

John is open to an international career. "But I haven't really said yes to anything. Right now I'd rather focus on my projects here. Yes, there's a probability that I could do an international project next year. But not right now."

John Abraham learns to play guitar!

Bollywood’s dashing star John Abraham is busy learning the six-string for a movie role.

John is playing a musician in Imtiaz Ali's Rock Star , where his fans will see him as a long-haired rocker playing guitar. According to John, people are very wise today and they can judge whether the actor is actually performing or faking and he doesn’t want to leave any loophole in his performance.

“I don't want to be an actor just to look good and wear trendy clothes on screen. I want to go deeper into my character. It's great fun to prepare for a role. I'm soon going to get those chords right,” John is quoted as saying.

Incidentally, John previously learnt to play flute for Deepa Mehta’s Water which is the Canadian entry for the Oscars.

John is currently working in Sriram Raghavan’s Happy Birthday , Nagesh Kukunoor’s Aashayein and Anurag Kashyap’s No Smoking . He has also clinched a plum role in Deepa Mehta’s next film titled ‘The Exclusion’.

'Don' team pairs up with John, Indian cricket team

'Don' trio of Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor have joined hands with John Abraham and the Indian cricket team. Sounds like an odd combination, isn't it? Is it for a film? No, in fact this group of individuals has come together to promote the ICC Championship trophy by means of a music video that also celebrates the greatness of India.

Titled 'Aaya India', the music video features SRK leading the bunch with the famous FEVICOL man making an appearance too. A rhythmic number with the sound of 'Hoo Haa...India, Aaya India' catching up instantly, it is composed by Vishal Shekhar with Sukhwinder Singh in tremendous form yet again.

The cricketers featuring in the song are Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

John Abraham`s romance with Toronto

Dashing John Abraham , accompanied by Bipasha Basu , has been in Toronto right from day one of the ongoing international film festival.

John may not have had Indian fans swarming all around him like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan did earlier on in the event, but the media attention he has attracted has been no less.

In Toronto for the special presentation of Kabir Khan 's thriller Kabul Express , John addressed a press conference at the downtown Sutton Place Hotel Thursday in the company of the film's Kabir and co-star Arshad Warsi .

‘Kabul Express’ hasn't exactly floored local critics – one of them described the film as "the most sublimely terrible movie in this year's festival" – but that hasn't exactly affected John's considerable fan following in Toronto.

The reason is pretty obvious: his fame here rests solely on his widely lauded performance as a Gandhian idealist in Deepa Mehta 's Water , which was the opening night film of the 2005 edition of the festival.

John is now due to play a role in Mehta's next film - the $15 million ‘Exclusion’, based on the ill-fated 1914 Komagata Maru voyage that ended well short of Vancouver in the face of the racial laws that prevailed in Canada back then.

So there is reason to believe that John's romance with Toronto is far from over.

Nagesh Kukunoor signs John Abraham

Nagesh Kukunoor is known for hard-hitting small budget films. The director of films like HYDERABAD BLUES and IQBAL is finally treading the conventional Bollywood path. After Ayesha Takia in DOR, it's John Abraham in his next film- AASHAYEIN. Percept Picture Company (PPC) will produce the film and as the title suggests, it's about hope. Nagesh informed a tabloid that John plays an idle guy in the film who waits for luck to change things for him. One day he wins a huge sum of money and on the same day he discovers that he has cancer. So the story basically revolves around how he deals with the situation.

Nagesh's next film is titled BEMISAL and apparently he wants Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee for this film. It is inspired by a true story and is still in the scripting stage.

Is John turning producer?

Has the production bug stung John Abraham? Is the talented actor following the footsteps of his colleagues and producing films? That’s the speculation in the industry. According to untrustworthy sources, John has not only floated his film production company, he has also decided to produce two films in the first round.

John, who is traveling from Manchester to Glasgow [for the Rockstars concert], called to deny the news. “It’s rubbish. I am in no mood to turn producer. Not at this moment. In fact, Bhaskar [John’s business manager] also read out the news to me. The thought of starting my own film hasn’t even crossed my mind,” John tells me.

The actor continues without a break. “I am enjoying the phase right now. I am working with film-makers who are nurturing me as an actor. I am at a stage where film production doesn’t feature on my plan of things. My core competency lies in acting and that’s what I am concentrating on,” he states.

John is living out of a suitcase presently. He flies to Toronto soon after the concert, since KABUL EXPRESS will be showcased at the prestigious Toronto Film Festival. “The organizers of the Festival loved the film. Also, KABUL EXPRESS is the only film filmed in Afghanistan after the Taliban regime. The international community is gung-ho for this reason,” he reveals.

Meanwhile, Yash Raj is yet to decide on the release date for KABUL EXPRESS. “Adi [Aditya Chopra] might take a decision after its screening at the Toronto Film Festival,” John adds.

Bend it like John Abraham!

Actors replacing each other has become a routine in Bollywood. Till lately it was actor Saif Ali Khan who was doing Vivek Agnihotri's forthcoming film GOAL and now it's John. The film has football as its premise and is a mega venture with a large international crew.

"John is a champion football player and is extremely passionate about the sport. He has a fantastic understanding of the game. Infact he went to Germany just for a day to watch the World Cup match so that we could recreate that magic in our film." Vivek is quoted in a media report.

He added that the film bears no resemblance with the Hollywood flick GOAL. The film will be produced by UTV and has hired the services of the world famous Andy Ansah, who has worked with the best football players like Pele, Ronaldinho, David Beckham, etc.

The film is expected to release sometime around Diwali next year.

John Abraham will be a Rockstar!

Bollywood Trade News Network

What do actors Vivek Oberoi and John Abraham have in common? Well after Vivek learnt to strum the guitar in OMKARA, it's John's turn now. John is taking guitar lessons from someone associated with the international band 'Santana'.

John Abraham will appear in a different avatar for his forthcoming film ROCKSTAR directed by Imitiaz Ali (of SOCHA NA THA fame). According to reports in a section of press, John plays a singer-cum-guitarist in the film. It's a love story to go on floors this October with some great music by A R Rahman. The director cannot stop raving about the music while the vice-president of UTV feels that the film will be their RANG DE BASANTI for 2007 in terms of music. The film is basically about the journey of a young couple but the actress opposite John hasn't been finalized as yet. He will don 2 different looks for this film. The first half will have him in short hair, while the second half in the long hair. A few of the dialogues in the film will be in English.

John Abraham to go Bald!!!

SantaBanta

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that John Abraham has decided to go bald, but that is just for one movie.

The film is called Rockstar and will be directed by Imtiaz Ali of of Socha Na Tha fame. John plays the role of a rock star for the first time.

Director Imtiaz Ali says “Yes, John plays a singer-cum-guitar player in the film. Essentially it’s a love story with some fantastic music by A R Rahman.”

Imtiaz claims that the film will have some really different and fascinating music. The film revolves around the journey of a couple, but the actress opposite John has yet to be cast. John has already begun to take guitar classes to get a better grip on his character.

Earlier Vivek Oberoi learnt to strum the guitar for his role in Omkara.

The film will go on the floors from October

Happy in Bollywood, John Abraham wants it to go global

The Hindu

New Delhi, July 20 (PTI): Even as Indian cinema and actors are making a dent abroad, actor John Abraham would rather stay put in Bollywood and have Indian cinema go global in terms of production value and craft.

"I don't want to sound like a marketing agent for 'Rang De Basanti' but I think it's the finest example of global piece of Indian cinema," says the star of films like 'Jism', 'Garam Masala', 'Taxi 9211' and 'Zinda'.

Meanwhile, Abraham is soaking up the rave reviews for 'Water' which has been received well in Canada, US, Australia and even in neighbouring Sri Lanka, where it is running to packed houses. "It's an Indian subject and it's a pity that the release of the film has been delayed in India. But it will be released here shortly." he says.

Another film that's expected to hit the theatres at the end of September or beginning of October is 'Kabul Express.' As a part of his homework , Abraham read Khalid Hosseni's 'Kite Runner' and saw 'Osama ' directed by Siddiq Barmak .

A comedy, where he plays a scribe on an assignment to Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban regime, Abraham says that the film was an eye-opener in ways more than one.

This was the period when Karzai had just come to power. The Talibans were kept locked in Afghani backyards and foreign correspondents would pay up 200 dollars a piece to interview them, he says.

"America has lot of press and PR but' it's India that's doing a whole lot of development work," states the 34-year-old talking about the warmth exuded by Afghanis during the shoot.

On the remake mania gripping the film industry, he says "I think it's a great trend. It's raking in the moolah for the industry."

So does he regret not being a part of Dhoom II? "I can either be grateful that the prequel was offered to me or crib about the latter. I choose to be thankful."

Since Abraham has done action , comedy and a romantic lead , which one is he the most comfortable with ? "I think action requires the least bit of acting because that's really being yourself on screen. Comedy is a bit of work and I admit I made mistakes in 'Garam Masala'." he says modestly.

On his favourite director, Abraham says that he'd "give his right arm for Mahesh Bhatt. He is a legend."

His good looks make him a favourite of the fairer sex but what explains his popularity with kids? (He is the brand ambassador for a kid's channel because he was at the top spot on the poll conducted by them) "I think it's the streak of rebellion that they like in me. I think it's the biggest compliment to be loved by kids as they are honest about their feelings and are your loyal audience."

His chiselled body, the envy of many he reveals is a result of "good food, adequate sleep and workout."
